This does not make sense to me, as the tools should be DTD independent.

I've got v2, and it looks as though a linuxdoc DTD and stylesheet(s)
were not included with the package.

These components *should* be all that is necessary to make the tools
work with linuxdoc-DTD-based SGML source file(s).
